At no additional cost to the customer, the Greenline process is available for USA manufactured low-volume special inserts. During order entry, order-specific data such as piece numbers, type of tool and coating and other relevant parameters are automatically compared with the Greenline requirement criteria stored in the system. The system then determines if the order is eligible for the Greenline process. With this decision the path through production, including the time schedule, is also determined. With the Greenline system, HORN offers its customers the possibility of reacting to quick requests with the appropriate special tools instead of waiting six to twelve weeks, which is usual in the market.

A: Greenline is simply a standardized manufacturing process for low-volume specials, not a premium service. The Customer Service, Technical Support, and Design departments have no control over whether an order is flagged for Greenline.
Q: How much does Greenline production cost?
A: Greenline is simply a change to the way we process orders of low-volume specials. It comes at no additional cost to customers.
