Enhancing our partnership:
Beginning in 2016 HORN Group entered a sales cooperation partnership with Boehlerit. This partnership was born from the desires of our customers to have an even broader tool selection. With Boehlerit's ISO milling and turning, bar peeling, and rail transit track-milling tools HORN is able to expand our already expansive portfolio to include niche industrial processes as well as ISO tooling allowing our customers to truly get all of their cutting tool needs from one source.
Now in 2025, we have enhanced that partnership. Horn USA is now the exclusive source for Boehlerit cutting tools in the United States and Canada. This more exclusive partnership allows Horn USA technical specialists and application sales engineers to more effectively support Boehlerit tooling with local inventory, local training, and local technical support.
About Boehlerit:
Boehlerit brings over 90 years of carbide tooling innovation to the table. Boehlerit was established in 1932 for the carbide production for the Boehler Steelworks in Dusseldorf, Germany. In 1950 a second carbide production center was established in Kapfenburg, Austria, which is now the world headquarters of the Boehlerit Group.
Since 1991, Boehlerit has been a part of the Leitz Corporate Group in Oberkochen/Germany and is thus a part of the group of companies owned by the Brucklacher family (Bilz, Boehlerit and Leitz).
